Is there any information available on whether the new version of Deskscapes will function on a system with multiple graphics cards? For example, a computer with two nVidia 9800GT's and four monitors. Is there any requirement that the cards must be in active SLI?
This would be nice if it would crash less often when switching into SLI or CrossfireX mode which it causes explorer.exe to stop working and Dreamscape's DLL is the cause. I am not sure if this is avoidable do to the nature of multiple GPU's. However I don't see where it could be used in the desktop since there is no multi-gpu working at that level. Only in fullscreen on apps/games that support it. For now I just let it restart explorer.exe and reload dreamscapes etc when I am done playing games. But for all purposes it does indeed function on systems with multiple-gpus it just does not use it, and I doubt do to the limitation of desktop mode it ever will, but again a fix for all the crashing would be nice.
there is the same problem with deskscapes running on my notebook, I can switch between a 9100 and a 9600 graphic card and after switching sometimes the explorer crashes and mostly deskscapes stops working. (desktop stays black)
