Under which name to save

Hello all,

I'm still trying to make my mod, only problem is that under what name do I save my new files.

What I want to do is start by just adding all the stats and abilities unto the tech ships, then switch their models, and finally add textures and all. Problem is, I know how to open a file, change it, but then under which name should I save it if I want to be able to see an immediate change in develloper.exe. I'm asking this because the files are read only and a cannot add a new file as it won't be taken into account by Sins (well not until  go play with string..but that'll be at end).

So how do I do, in general, to SAVE THE FILE  (most important part for me to get an answer on :)) once it's been modified for it to immediately appear in develloper.exe!

Well, you'll have to disable the read only flags :) Unless you're creating a new unit/ability/whatever, it has to be saved with the same file name. So if you're editing FrigateTechLight.entity to be faster, you have to save it as FrigateTechLight.entity ;)

Hum how to disable the read me only flags? That something like a Vista Moderator thingies I need to disable or stright inside the files?!

Forget that, I found it!!! THA NK YOU ANNATAR! Now if only I didnt have an exam in 1h..I would start moding away :( DAMN! WHY DID I GET A JOB! IM CONSTANTLY OUT OF TIME! X|
