No! Not my saves!

Sins of a Solar Empire is a great game. Really like it!

However.

Why in the name of Crom does Stardock insist on killing all my saves with patches?
Please, I beg of you. Patch to your hearts content but leave my saves alone!
If Sid Meier can, you can too!
