[Fixed][bug] Distort Gravity (either bug or a misleading tooltip)

Shortly:
The Distort Gravity's tooltip says it increases the affected ships' sub-light movement speed and that it does (although a slight boost to maneuverability would also be pretty welcome, cause right now the skill turns a slow and clumsy ship into a fast and equally clumsy ship).
The ability's tooltip also says that the ability applies "Jump Interference Immune" tag to affected ships and that also happens - the ships get that.

However, when a ship with this effect tries to phase jump with an enemy Phase Jump Inhibitor nearby, it takes the ship just as long to jump as if he wasn't affected.

Questions:
What does "Jump Interference Immune" do?
Should it be there anyway?

If it is there on purpose, it doesn't seem to work.
If it is there by accident, I suggest it is removed.

Thanks,
N3rull

I'm not sure what's intended or not, but looking at the files only the Antorak gets the actual PJI immunity buff applied to it. The buff that gets put on the friendly ships doesn't include the jump immunity.

Well that changes a lot, since the Marauder itself isn't becoming immune to Phase Inhibitors as well.>_>

:annoyed:

Will try to test tonight. This one's probably not likely to make 1.1 if there is a bug, though. I use the Antorak fairly often but never explicitly noticed that its PJI-immunity doesn't work, so I dunno.

It's pretty easy to see. Surely you have a zillion saved games with a level 6 Antorak and at least one enemy planet with a Phase Jump inhibitor built.

The reason why I too haven't really paid attention to it for 20 hours of using Antorak as my only cap (!) is because you generally do not attempt to jump with a phase jump inhibitor online. Usually you tell your LRMs or Bombers or, hell, even vulkoras to deal with it and the structure goes puff in seconds.

I for one like Antorak very much for how flexible it is and I am looking for ways to use it to maximum.
One such way is to have the Antorak sneak behind enemy frontline and Subvert enemy planets as he jumps from one to another. If he finds something really interesting, just place a stabilizer node and call in reinforcements.
I wanted to use the fact that the Antorak has the biggest AM pool of all Vasari caps (with all upgrades and on level 10, the Antorak will have 850-ish antimatter available, while kortul, skirantra and vulkoras have below or close to 600)

Anyway as I once did something like this and used the Distort Gravity to jump from a grav well with an inhibitor built, I noticed the ability didn't cause the Antorak to jump any faster. I am 100% sure the jump loadup took at least 5 times as long as it should.

ps. this happened in 1.05 . If you are unable to repeat that bug, it is quite possible it has been already fixed accidentally with something else.

Well I couldn't do a test on this last night, but Blair posted in the patch note thread that they got this fixed - all ships affected should now get the PJI immunity and it should always work.

Fixed for 1.1. Managed to get it included along with a few others due to the delay.
