Where are the mods

In many of games that I have enjoyed playing for long periods the community has created mods that enhance the game play and extend the interest of players. Yes, you can find mods over at the Ironclad forum but most of them are for earlier builds. Is this game too hard to mod? Too many patches make it difficult to keep up? Or to paraphrase Larry Ellison over at Oracle: don't bother modding the product because we will roll it into our next release.

I'd say this game is more mod friendly than most. In fact in the 1.1 patch soon to be released they have increased the number of capital ships you can add for modding purposes. I think many are probably waiting for the 1.1 patch before they update their mods.

I know exactly what you mean though. Look at mount & blade. It has a ton of mods but they are spread out across versions. I have 3 versions of the software installed just so I could try out the different mods.
