[Performance] Poor performance after ca. 4 minutes on Atlantis

After playing the Atlantis map (all slots full, vs the AI), the performance degraded rapidly after the 4th minute or so. Graphics were down to slideshow levels, sound was having the hiccups as well. Waited for a few minutes, didn't get better, had to exit. I'll have a few more rounds, see if it gets better, make a few reboots as well, I'll update later.

The Waterfall map was removed from Beta 1B. I believe you mean the Atlantis map?

Love the machine name.

I´ve got performance issues too.

My sound is messed up, too. I´m using a 5.1 system connected to my onboard sound device. Most of the other games are doing fine with this, only some RPG´s are confounding the subwoofer and center.

The game is bass heavy, I'll second that.

I've got the same problem, but it starts immediately with the crunchy sound. It seemed to get better when I turned AA off, I'll see what happens on low settings sometime soon, but there's no way my computer should need to run on low.

A restart helped me, apparently, it seems to be working fine now.

Have the exact same problems. Choppy, bad framerate with stuttering sound. Atlantis map causes it real bad, the other map has it occuring a tiny bit.

From what I remember, previous versions had real smooth framerate and no sound problems. 1C it was noticeable from the start.

I heard masturbation is a great way to relieve stress. I suggest you use that instead of spamming.

The game works/worked fine with other maps. Only Atlantis seems to give problems. During a round I played earlier today in Atlantis the same thing occured, everything slowed down after about 5 minutes, sound got choppy, etc.

I restarted the game and played another round and it was ok then.
