Suggestion for Governor

One small suggestion that might make the game even more cool - how about making it so that governors can queue up production of ships as well as social projects? That way a governor could be set to produce a couple of defenders per planet and quit or something similar. Or perhaps even a more easily functioning method would be the ability to set up what the "minimum orbital contingent" of ships would be for each planet. That way, if a ship that is "supposed" to be in orbit of the planet is launched and no other military project currently underway, the governor would automatically build another one of that type. This would make new acquisitions easier to deal with as well. Just a thought... Too bad this game is so fun. I have had too many tired mornings at work this week!

I love this idea. One sticky wicket: Multiple planets in the system. I imagine my system with 5 planets all churning out defenders because there was only 1 there...

One suggestion that might make game play more enjoyable would be the ability to cue military production projects. Giving orders to have a sequence of ships (5 or more) built on any given planet would make managing military production much easier.
Most RTS games have this sort of production cue, in fact I can’t think of one published since Warcraft2 that didn’t.
