Problem adding graphics w/ SKS pro

Transp. background not transp

When building my startmenu in skin studio 6 pro, using photoshop cs3 all my graphics have the large white square that was the canvas in ps. I have the background in photoshop transparent. I also have the transparent box checked in sks. Can someone tell what im missing? thanks

How are you saving the images? Are you saving them as .png files and letting SKS convert them to .tga on import?

Photoshop CS3 has a broken .tga plugin that turnes your transparent canvas white (opaque).

When I bought PSCS3, I had to find someone who had an older version of Photoshop to send me a copy of the plugin. That fixed the problem.

But like Xiandi, I save all my images as a .png and Sks converts them to .tga

Thank you to very much, saving a .png worked perfectly. Now do I have to save all my files for SKS as .png? Thanks agian.

Some have to be .bmp (like UIS2 windowframes) but quite alot can be .png. (actually, very few things HAVE to be .bmp) Your best bet is to look at a blind and see what it has its files saved as, and do the same.

I always use .png wherever I can, I hate magic pink.

I'd suggest getting the TGA format plugin from PS7 for CS3.  It will make your life easier in the long run.
