GalCiv II Endless Universe

I've purchased GalCiv II Dread Lords and the two expansions - Dark Avatar and Twilight of Arnor Then when I walked into the store I saw Endless Universe which was an impulse buy - and after installing I found that I already have the games - Endess Universe is actually a stand alone version of Dark Avatar and Twilight of Arnor published by Kalypso Media - which is fine because now I can play two instances of the same game a the same time.

I'm honestly very happy with this product as it gave me the chance to have a hard copy of the two expansions in Australasia.:grin:

I also saw the "following on from" part and originally thought this was an expansion, but actually did some very very quick research and found out that it wasnt.

IMO its probably a problem with the english translation on the box or something and was meant to be "following on with".

Yet saying that, i can understand if you purchased it in store on an impulse that you would trust it was an actual expansion. I was lucky enough to be familiar enough with www.galciv2.com that i knew stardock hadnt made another expansion.

Refund possible from the purchase store? Probably not, but oh well.:annoyed:

I think if you go to the purchase store with a proof of purchase of DL + DA + TA you'll have at least some credibility, so that they don't take you for a cheap pirate that copied the CD then tries to give it back ...

this kind of "pirates" are IMHO the main reason why many stores don't take back PC games anymore...
