Registration key suddenly invalidated

I have been enjoying 'Sins' for some months and loaded to update v1.095 (Vista). Suddenly my restration key has become invalid and cannot be activated despite all attempts. I live in the UK.

Consequently I sent a request for help to customer support at kalypso. Their response has me baffled - are stardocks progs thus not  supported in Europe? And can anyone please advise on why my registration for 'Sins' abruptly became invalid?

Kalypso's response:Hello,

due to license restricitons Impulse is not activated for Europe. The
game comes with the latest patch and we will provide new patches via our
website.

Try contacting our support ([email protected]) instead. If it worked in Impulse previously, they should be able to get it working again.

That's a new one. I'm assuming that you bought the boxed game once Kalypso started selling it in Europe? It could be because Impulse patches are English-only, and it's Kalypso that provides them for non-English localizations, so that's probably what their response was about. But people with German (and other) versions have had them registered on Impulse for the beta patch too.

I would send an email to [email protected] and see what they say.
