I love this company and its Gamers Bill of Rights! The above is an excellent example of why people pay them for stuff that is easy to use! Here's another one (and I'm putting this here because I don't feel like starting a thread on it)
I bought the game and brought it home and tried to install it on my GamesMachine only to find, drumroll please... my DVD drive had died! Its Friday night I wanna play my new game and I can't install it and nowhere is open to go an buy a new one. Ok, I think, lets put this DRM-Free thing to the test...
1) I put the disc in my Mac (You guys should release your titles on both platforms a-la Blizzard and EA) and zip the contents onto the hard-drive...
2) Copy the ZIP file over the Network to my PC with the dead DVD drive,
3) Unzip and Install
4) Cross my fingers
5) PLAY THE GAME!!! OMFG it worked.
Thanks Stardock and Ironclad! PS: 1 month later and I ~still~ haven't got around to replacing that drive but I'm STILL loving the game!
