New Update of September 2008 BAD

After installing udate to Windowsblinds dated 9/08, my system freezes up upon boot up.  Only way to correct problem was to boot F8 and fixing system by Restoring to time before update occurred.  I tried twice to update with same results.  Stardock has serious problem here.\

 

UPDATED WB WILL NOT INSTALL WITH NEW VERSION OF PC TOOLS SPYWARE DOCTOR

Just a little more information would be helpful.  What OS? How are you trying to update, with SDC or Impulse?

At first I updated with Stardock Central and after the negative results, I rebooted in safe mode and went back to the time just before the update.  I then attempted to update using Impulse with the same results.  My OS is Microsoft XP PRO SP3.  I use McAfee Security Center and PC Tools Spyware Doctor.  I have never had a problem with any Stardock product as all the updates and new software have been functioning perfectly.  This is a mystery.  Any help will be appreciated as this will undoubtedly cause problems with future updates.  Thank you
