[Fixed][Bug] Fighter Graphics Issue
With bloom enabled, TEC fighters glow. TEC bombers do not share this problem and when bloom is disabled the glowing is removed.

Was worried about this. Thanks, it will be fixed. Did you notice it with any of the other faction's stuff?
I hadn't checked Advent and Vasari so I just went and did so. Both their types of strikecraft appear the same with bloom on or off. Loaded my TEC game and the fighter model seems to be alone in its glowing issues with bloom.
If you haven't seen my other thread though, there does appear to be a unique problem with Gardas flashing as well as their infocards when you zoom in on them during a jump. Checked all other TEC ships and none of them suffer from it.
Thanks for checking allt hat out. W/r to the Gardas, What do you mean by flashing? Glowy bits come up? The mesh cuts in a out? The lighting flickers?
Sorry, should have described that better. From what I can see, it appears the model itself and the infocard that pops up when you mouse over the model alternate between existing and simply disappearing completely, rapidly and repeatedly. I'll probably try another game, but I can confirm that in two games in a row with the most recent patch this occurs.
The glowing TEC fighters is fixed. I can't reproduce the other one ![]()
Well, good to hear the fighters are fixed. As for the Garda, I'll try and explain in detail what I do to produce it. I've also PM'd you with a download link for a replay, even though I'm not entirely certain that will be helpful.
I start a new game on a random small 2-player map. Immediately construct mines, upgrade planet population and build two military research facilities as soon as the resources are available. Research the Garda, construct and send to a jump point. Once I've ordered the Garda to jump, I zoom in to the maximum possible and watch as the phase jump commences. Once it enters phase space, I can clearly observe the ship mesh blinking in and out of existence during the whole course of the jump within the bright white graphical effects of a ship traveling. If I take my cursor off the ship and put it back on, the infocard in the lower right flashes at the same frequency as the ship.
Once the Garda exits phase space, all is normal again. I didn't check it in the replay I constructed, but the other two games where I observed this, I tested all other TEC ships and none behaved in the same manner. You can zoom in and out on them during jumps and they were solid meshes with no blinking.
I'm going to go into the game later tonight and check all three races and their ships to see if any others do in fact share this problem. I could see how this could be unique to my system, but it seems rather odd that the same class of ships would do it every time. If I find others that exhibit the same behavior and you still can't reproduce it, I'll chalk it up to gremlins on this side.
Alright, nearly 1 AM here so I'm going to have to quit for tonight, but I'll get the other two races done tomorrow. Created a new game and played until I had one of every TEC ship type. No other ships blink besides the Garda. Even checked trade ships, though forgot refinery ships. Will check tomorrow before moving on to Advent and Vasari. While checking this out, I stumbled upon a few other bugs or very minor items that probably should be fixed:
1. Akkan Battlecruisers will not colonize planets, even when the ability autocast is enabled, while in a fleet. If this is intended behavior, please ignore. I like the priority being on the ship not running off by itself, but I think that once the entire system is clear the Akkan should probably go use its ability to colonize.
2. Akkan Battlecruiser's Targeting Uplink ability has its name spelled correctly, but the flavor text in its description instead spells it 'targetting'.
3. Two items unique to the Cielo Command Cruiser. Its model appears more worn and faded than all other TEC ships. Additionally, some of what appear to be new team coloring areas on all ships are applied perhaps a little strangely to this ship. The inside of the engines are completely filled with whatever team color you picked. If either/both of these are by design, please ignore.
