Windowblinds Don't Work

Hi guys. Straigh to the point.. my WB6 doesn't work on my Vista Basic laptop. Here is the info:

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.3 (build 110 x86 - Vista Edition)

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series

Also Deskscapes doesn't work any more and I can't load any dreams. I get a message saying:

The Desktop Window Manager is not running, DeskScape requires the DWM (uxsms) service to be running to function.

Can anyone help?

And the thing is.. DWM.exe IS actually running when I check in the Vista Task Manager.. I don't get it. I try and apply a theme going from my normal Vista Aero look, but instead of applying the theme I want, it reverts back to the classic Win 98 look. (????)

I downloaded it from I guess from Stardock via Impulse.. so it's all legit I think..
