oldbiker ...from the gist of your comment it appears you have had 3 communications from/with support so far.  I hardly see that as 'no help', or 'scam'.

Communications such as these [support] can take time....depending on the detail/clarity of the reported issue and its ability to be replicated and thus resolved.

Please allow them the opportunity/time to process the issue and resolve it for you...;)

What theme are you talking about? What are you talking about? DX3? WB? OD? That's the first thing.

You got 3 responses from support. I guess that's not good enough for you. That's the second thing.

then another tech ask me what it was doing so i told them what it wasnt doing and guess what ....still no help ....is this a scam?

What is it? that's the third thing.

You can't expect to get help if you aren't more specific in what  your problem is. X(

three responses and no fix or what it could be ...and you call that help?

...let me sale you a pc ...ill send you the case ...since to you that is what you call good

i guess you didnt see the part about NO HELP ...looks like you only read stuff that makes them look good

Perhaps if you were more specific as to what the problem was, someone could help you. Your post is very unclear as to what you are having problems with.

Could you also post the trouble ticket number.  As this is the weekend your issue will most likely have to wait until support returns on Monday. There is always a chance support will check the forums and get back to you. In the meantime, as Xiandi has said, if you explain your issue you may get help from community members.

THey may not have an immedioate fix.

They may have escalated your case to developmetn.

They may be doing testing.

Support here really is great; give it some time.

The one time I needed help from support, it took only about 1 day for them to get back to me. Then, I got an answer the same day.

However, I was CLEAR and DETAILED on what the problem was.

Also, to expect any help here, you need to be CLEAR and DETAILED. I see that your post is categorized under "Stardock Support." But this does not tell anyone which program, which theme, what problem, which strange occurrances, what OS, PC specs, etc.

Stardock is probably one of the best software companies out there for their support.  Please be patient as there are literally thousands of things that could be wrong.  Remember no two people have the exact same system, so support must try to duplicate your issues.  That is why you need to provide the most in-depth system and software information you can.

you've posted a thread(by the way very humorous "riped" off and nick "old biker".) and really didn't ask for help, just complained about what you personally considered  to be poor support on a product you have yet to identify to the group at large.

You have posted a seperate answer within that thread in which you still complain vehemently but also still don't identify the product you purchased.

No one  on the web is omnicient, though I am sure many wish they were. We do not know your operating system, nor do we know what it is you are trying to do. All we do know is 1.) you are angry 2.) it's all Stardock's fault 3.) you are sure everyone who reads  this drivel is going to toss their Stardock products based on your personal complaints and recommendations (ya that'll happen!).

Why don't you take the advice of the nice people here to try and help you while Stardock staff is away for the weekend? Provide some information that can help them to help you. Oh, and it's possible Stardock staff gets Columbus day off , if that is so, you will have to wait till tuesday. Sorry to twist your panties just a little tighter but... everyone deserves a day off now and again.

Please give it some time.  These Support guys do care on the real and they will see your problem through.

And I can say with all honesty, there's absolutely no scams or rip-off's here.

Here's wishing you the best of luck in resolving your issue!

Try loading the theme while you are logged in as a user with Administrative rights (like the user you use to install programs) and see if that works (at least while you're logged in with that user).

I think we're talking about a MyColors theme.  Are you running Windows XP or Windows Vista?

This is a simple matter of MyColors not working for XP64bit install. We apologize for any misunderstandings through our support channels.

End of Seabass's quote

It states quite clearly on the MyColors pages that XP x64 isn't supported. :X
