Using ObjectDock to replace taskbar

Alright, I love the application but is there no way to stop applications from maximizing over the bar? I don't want to hide the bar and I don't want it to right on top of my applications.

Please tell me this is possible! :D

You can reserve space for OD in the Positioning section of the dock config (assuming OD+).

So this is a feature only available in plus?

EDIT:

This was almost enough for me to lose total interest in the application. It looked very promising but the program is just useless eyecandy if it can't be functionally used as a replacement for a taskbar. There are other ways to get money for software: trial version, demo, donations.  Disabling key functionality (and not making it known it exists) is undoubetdly damaging the customer base for this software. I'm not afraid to pay for quality software but I didn't even know this feature existed and I can't fully demo the program without paying for the full version. After that point it doesn't matter if I like it or not because i've already payed for it.

Anyway, the above is more of a suggestion on how to approach limiting use of a demo version to help attract new customers. After a lot of searching I found some screenshots that convinced me to buy the software so no worries.

That said, I'm really glad I bought it! I was looking for something similar to the dock bars in linux. So... yeah!
