I am having trouble identifying some of the apps and visual themes in this desktop pic i found on another site.

Just a suggestion, I would go back to the site where you found this and ask the person who posted the desktop for help in identifying what was used. It looks like the dock could be Object Dock.
The other thing you could do is see if the original poster is a member of the community here. If so you would be able to send them a PM.
