So i get to my hotel in Boston...

I sit down on the couch and turn on the TV. Being the good little political junkie that i am, i turned on CNN Headline News to get my fix. They showed a story about an incident in california that really pissed me off.

All i can say is that if this is as evolved as our species gets, somebody push the button and fry us all.

Save Our Seals, a Southern California animal rights group is offering a $2,000.00 reward for info leading to the conviction of these sick bastards.

Just holding the opinion you've put forth shows that some of us (i.e. YOU) are more highly evolved. But I'm all for frying the ones who did this. That's pretty sick.

Hopefully you will see the report on CNN headline news. From what the witnesses said, they weren't trying to help the seal, they were just torturing it.

Why would these assholes take the cellphones and keys of the witnesses and throw them in the ocean if they were the "good samaritans" that you theorize?

According to the report on CNN headline news there were 3 witnesses. Unfortunately headline news doesn't post a lot of their stories on the CNN site. I found the one i posted on a local TV site.

Even if they were gung ho PETA type people, why would any one who is trying to "rescue" the animal doing stuff like that? Just my opinion.

I can appreciate your viewpoint here whip, and your love for animals. Never in question. I just think that it's pretty clear that whoever did it, is deserving of a severe beating with short lumber.

Well according to CNN the cops had scuba divers go get the phones and keys. I think that says it all! I personally would have pulled out my leatherman and cut the fishing line off the seals neck. but then again not everybody carries a leatherman.
