Impulse Updates Enable sdmcp.exe Again?

Having disabled sdmcp.exe via Stardock Central a long time ago, a recent slew of updates through *Impulse* has re-enabled it.  The update affected WB6, SKS6 Pro, IP4, MyColors Diamond and (maybe?) DesktopX.

 

SDC is still installed, but I never use it anymore.  Currently active Stardock apps include CursorFX, WB6, IP4, ODPlus, SoundPackager and 3 stand-alone DesktopX Gadgets.

 

Why?  How? ;P
