problem when applying trails

hi,i`m new here(excuse if i make some mistake my english is not perfect)ok i bought cursorfxplus and everything runs ok,but when i apply a trail my pc runs veeery slow especially when i use the "bubble" trail(is the more i like )it only happens with the trails.

i have xp home ps3,1gb ram,can sombody give me some help?
