UPDATE are you curious about "clones" ?

I was curious about the only one referral of my "DigCounter the folder"  https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=966&libid=18

following the google "Picture Slideshow" link I found a "PicSlideShow" on the RocketDock gallery :http://rocketdock.com/addons/docklets/4044 the perfect clone of the KateKat docklet: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=13001&libid=29 (the zipped folder has still the original name "Picture Slideshow"!)

then by the same "cloner":  http://rocketdock.com/addons/14545 I found out a "spin-off" (IronMan skin) of my "IronMan Animatedock": http://frankell.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=14406&libid=29 

plus the "Batman icons" Libardo clone http://lgp85.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=14643&libid=29

Docklets Dockbackgounds Icons what else ?

At the moment I registered on RocketDock just to comment for giving the links to the originals ....

Frankell it is best if possible that rip reports are offed to the admins and or possible artists ripped in PM form. Thanks for the heads up, we will look in to it :)

frankell ....there's a 'report' button just below each skin/icon/etc on that site.  Just click it...and copy/paste your source links into it...and mark as 'copyright violation' since they are not his works to distribute.

It's not 'cloning'....it's 'ripping'...;)

i hope you can stop him the people here put time effort and a love of what they do in thier work .its such a shame when others take credit for someone elses work.#:(

UPDATE:

finally the "IronManSkin" + the "BatmanIcons" were removed from the RocketDockGallery

but the "PicSlideshow" docklet is still there they just added "created by by KateKat" !!http://rocketdock.com/addons/docklets/4044

That's a great start....but posting 'credit' won't be good enough...unless they have had the go-ahead from the original author...;)

as I supposed there was some more...
I was late because I don't use the calendar docklet
but by the same "Big-Curt" here is the "Calendar": http://rocketdock.com/addons/docklets/4048 
the zipped folder "iCal" is the AndreasV "Calendar Docklet" spin-off: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=2065&libid=29
just have a look at the .dll creation date: 14/10/2003 22.01 !!
Also in this case I already reported to the admins

+ what about the "GreenIcons"? http://rocketdock.com/addons/icons/3773 does somebody knows the original link? :rolleyes:

One's more the solution about the "Calendar docklet" was to add "Created by AndreasV" ": http://rocketdock.com/addons/docklets/4048 

as Jafo suggested this is only for giving "credit" ;)

I guess the two docklet are very funtional as docklets addon on that site (they perfecty works on RocketDock)

and they want to keep them on the gallery.

Sorry I can't do anything more ...x_x

UPDATE 2

something happened: apart from the BatmanIcon + the IronManDock if you click on the RocketDock links above searching for the single skin you don't find anymore the pages, but the skins were not removed the links were just changed (addon instead of addons) !!

for example the firefox green icons dated 22 Aug. 2008 is here: http://rocketdock.com/addon/icons/3773

AW it's all right regarding this entry as the author is unknown + check out: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Firefox_LiNsta.png (thanks to Lantec who provided the link)
