Halloween has always been a popular time for skinning. There are a number of Halloween inspired skins in the WinCustomize galleries, and seems to be skins in almost every category.  With that being said, I wanted to show a quick preview of a new Halloween skin in the works from Stardock Design.  This WindowBlinds skin will be free to WinCustomize subscribers, and should be released sometime in early October.  There will also be a free .dream available for download as well.

This is way too busy for my tastes guys. You're trying too hard here, cut out the chains and the eye balls and this will be way more usable. Icons look like they will be pretty nice when finished.

I think it needs quite a bit of work still.  Some suggestions:

1) Get rid of the skull. It makes it too busy.

2) Make the start menu more interesting, shape it like a tomb stone a bit or at least something that's irregularly shaped.

3) Why are the taskbar buttons capsules? Doesn't go with the theme.

4) The text is hard to read.  I wouldn't use this due to the color choices from a readability point of view.

5) The title bar buttons don't go with the rest of the theme. Looks like some other skin but recolored.

6) Too many gradients, don't go with any consistent style.

Just my 2 cents. :)

One question above will still need to be answered. Will the IconPackager be free or " Same Script, Different Skin" as the "Golf"

They entire theme is free to OD and WC subscribers.
