I'm sure this is something *I've* done wrong, but Impulse isn't updating WindowBlinds for me (apparently). My WindowBlinds still shows version 6.20.088. No updates are available via Impulse (and yes, it is retrieving according to the text in the lower left). I'm not sure what I did to cause this, but I would like the newest release. (6.3 somethin', somethin'). The same release that anyone buying WB (now) is getting via MajorGeeks.com . I'm sure you understand. Money isn't free & I've offered up mine for your product. I deserve  the very best Stardock has to offer, as does anyone.

 My subscription doesn't die until June 2009.

I hope I don't have to re-install Impulse. That was a serious pain in the rear last time I had to install because of ....... something *I'm sure I did* to cause a problem with your server.

By the way, is there a way to restore hidden applications? I can't find it. :w00t:

The toggles for showing beta versions and to unhide hidden applications are hidden (rather confusingly) behind the blue stardock logo.  If you click on that you will get a menu with what you seek.  You are not the first person to miss this.  In fact, you might be #10,897 if posts regarding these questions are any indication.  :grin:

Thank you Excalpius  O:)   You are very nice for telling me that. Maybe adding a indication under said blue logo might stop #10,898 from asking. (hint to those who can).

I can't imagine why I didn't realize that in the first place. :annoyed:   Thanks for the intuitive gui SD.

I will start clicking on all of the other images to see if I can get the update that is apparently available. #:(   I'll have to search for the post that proclaims the big version change. I must have missed it.

6.29RC is the beta release candidate referred to as WB 6.3.  When a final 6.3 build is released it will then have the 6.3 designation.

I take that back the most recent 6.29a[RC].165 is now showing 6.3 build 67 x86 here I just got it installed.

I have this issue too ... Impulse is not recognising the new version that I see available to the GP via filehippo.com...

 

Is this SOP for StarDock to issue new versions to the General Public FIRST????

dsood you're not being very clear, what program?  What bversion/release level do you have installed?  What version are you looking for?

Do you know how to set Impulse to show you beta releases?
