What is going on with Impulse?  I'm having trouble loading Impulse and when I do get it to load my updates won't work.  I have 2 available updates. Impluse says I have to start Impulse with Admin Privileges.  My PC is already set with Administrator Privileges.  I can not find settings for Impluse if there are any to set admin privileges for the program itself.  Other times I load Impulse it does not give me that message but when loading to install updates I get these messages: Error Retrieving Data and Experincing Network Difficulties.  I do not know what is going on with Impulse, I'm getting so many different errors with in the program.  Again what is going on?

First, as has been posted several times in this forum the Impulse servers are down.  I don't know of anyone who has posted that Impulse is working for them with respect to downloads or updates.  So, that's what is going on with Impulse this weekend. Stardock staff are aware of the problem.  I don't expect it will be fixed until tomorrow.

Second, running Impulse on an Administrator Account is normal.  So, if you're doing that then all is fine there.

I had the same problems the whole weekend, I dunno if Stardock has rectifyied the problem, but all two of my updates ahs just gone through, you can also try doing it through Stardock Central first, and then through Impulse, or as BigDogBigFeet says wait for Stardock on Monday, cheers for now:thumbsup: :thumbsup:

What did you update with Impulse Thuglifejunior?  I'm still getting the same 404 file servor not found error when trying to use Impulse to update Window Blinds.  From what I understand it has something to do with the file servers for sks having some issues.  These issues won't be resolved untill Monday.

My Guess is occasionally server is on for testing during these times some can retrieve updates.

kahlo13 Oh sorry there kahlo this is a leftover from this past weekend problem was solved some hours later after my reply# 3.

Everything's fine now and Stardock indicated there were some server issues they reolved earlier on Monday.
