Impulse Error WB Code Not Activating

I am so frustrated. Longtime WB and ODT customer. Computer crashed, had to reinstall. Tried to type in my serial number and activation code which I printed way back when and nothing. Rather than trouble the forums, I emailed support@stardock. Got an email from a rep and they said I now had to install Impulse then try to put my code in WB and the other Stardock components I bought. Impulse crashes as soon as it finishes loading the data. WB says my "30 days have expired"!! I have had it for years! Email support again and they send me the same exact auto reply email to download Impulse blah blah blah The only component working right now is Cursor FX. I am not too happy! Can anyone help me?

First of all WB saying your 30 days has expired sounds like you have the wrong version of WB installed.  How did you install this version of WB?

Also, if you have Stardock Central which you should have used before, have you tried that?  It should still work for you.

I downloaded it, I am thinking, about 3 - 4 years ago. Ordered online and downloaded the full version. Been using it for years to switch various themes I have downloaded from WinCustomize. As far as Stardock Central...it is in my program files, however, when I click on it, it says "Your Desktop X registration information is invalid. Please verify your email address and serial number are entered correctly:. They are entered correctly because I have cut and pasted them about 30 times. Does that answer your question?

You show as a citizen here for few years, so alright let's do this .  So, use your favorite browser to access the WC Home Page www.wincustomize.com

Then go over to above your name when you log in to WC and access settings and review your account, there you'll find your current Stardock Account and Registrations which are what's important.  This should tell you the correct email id in Stardock.net and your correct OD registration/serial number.  With that info(OD Subscription Serial Number) click on Registration Info on bottom right of SDC and enter the correct info and that should get SDC working again for you.

When SDC accepts your OD subscription registration, I would then consider de-installing this copy of WB that you have and let SDC install the current and correct version for you.  I'm thinking something happened to this version of WB you have on your PC where it won't activate properly.  Best solutionde-install reboot re-install with SDC.  If all goes well you'll have everything working again soon. :thumbsup:

If you get a message about 30 days having expired then you have installed the trial version of WB.
