Windows blinds now fails to work

I have had Windows blinds working and would skin my Xp fine, last night I swtiched my laptop off by button rather then letting windows shut down and now Blinds does not work. I tried CCleaner, and using seach to delete references to stardock and reinstalled Blinds, but now does not work.

All I get is the message come up. Reboot, reboot later, or use more resourses, which may solve it. I try this option and nothing, does not even end up in the taskbar, etc.

What version are you using? Trial, purchased? Open the WB config, system info, copy info button on the top right, paste it here.

Having a very similar problem only my install hasn't worked period. I downloaded the latest demo & won't even finish installing. Just says "WindowBlinds needs a reboot. Reboot Now, Reboot Later or Use More Resources" I've searched the net high and low for a solution to this and the only thing I've found is a ridiculous amount of people with the same problem and a hell of alot of nothing about how to fix it. I have no Antispyware or Antivirus running & I've followed all instructions. Install doesn't even work in safemode. Please come up with a fix for this Stardock.

Hi All,

This is my first post and unfortunately it concerns the installation problem so many seem to be suffering.

I  am new to Stardock products and am very interested in Windows Blinds but until I can install the demo to see if it meets my needs

I am reluctant to purchase the full product unsure if it will install on my Vista Ultimate 32bit machine. Surely Stardock must be aware there

is a problem with so many complaining of the same issue. Has anyone with a Vista machine installed WB 6.2  without any problems ? I would be

interested to know what protection software they have to see if my PC has the same installed.

Many thanks for reporting this.  It seems the WB 6.2 trial has expired earlier than it should have and this is why you are having these problems.

The good news is we have just put the finishing touches on the WB 6,3 trial and we will be putting up a link to this build later today.
