Alright, im just curious, cause, well............

 

i have several PC's and my girlfriend keeps bugging me to install Windowsblind on her laptop which has Vista, and im not sure if i want 2, because im not sure as to how many times you can install this program on different PC's.

 

so thats my question, how many times can you use this serial number? and install it on other PC's that you currently own, before it tells you that its reached its maximum activations?

 

if someone knows, id gladly appreciate it, thanks

SOFTWARE on a single computer.
2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a
second computer only if you are the main user of
this computer (home computer or laptop for
example).
3. Install the SOFTWARE on another computer only
if you change your main workstation. In such a case
you must uninstall the software from the old
computer.
4. Use the SOFTWARE via a network, only if you
have purchased an adequate number of licenses.
The number of users must not exceed the number of
licenses you have purchased.
5. Make a copy of the SOFTWARE for archival
purposes only.

I have one PC and 2 laptops in my home. I have my stardock stuff on all three. I have been told by stardock that this is fine.  :grin:

Technically the licence allows for two computers you own. There is a degree of flexing in this licence as Stardock would also allow you to install to a work machine and another one at home/laptop/other work PC... and so on. With three computers you will often max out the threshold of your activations (which are unlimited but only so many can happen in a short period of time, or from so many IP address and much more). If you run into the activation problem you will need to contact [email protected].

For your girlfriend you will need to have a new licence. Don't forget though that it means she will have a licence for another machine that way as well!
