can't update: "not enough disk space"

When I try to update my retail copy of Sins through Impulse, it gives me an error saying "not enough disk space". That's a bad error message because it doesn't say how much disk space it needs, or what drive it's talking about, or how to change the download directory. The Impulse drive has 1.7 gigs of space; the Sins drive has 39 gigs of free space.

How do I fix this problem?

edit: And there's no way to download a standalone patch? In other words, I cannot update my game at all. In addition, when I try to read the technical FAQ thread in Impulse, Impulse crashes. My impression of your game delivery platform so far is not exactly stellar.

To change the temporary files location and other installation directories, click the blue orb in the top left and go into Preferences.

1.05 does exist as a standalone on third party sites (Filefront, Fileplanet, etc), but the 1.09 beta, the final 1.1 patch and going forward patches will only be available through Impulse.

Thank you! I see that there is a way to edit the temp files location there.

I appreciate the quick response.
