Mouse issues, music freezes, etc. frustrated...

Here's the deal...

Purchased the game yesterday.  I installed the game via DVD, but after playing tutorial for 5 mins, my mouse began freezing and / or jumping.  I have also experienced the music locking up.  I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it via impulse, but I run into the same problem.  I have lowered some of the graphic options even though my card is more than capable of handling this game.  I have the 1.05 version, and I have updated my video card from nVidia.

Here are my sepcs:

Windows XP Service Pack 3

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual 4200 (2.21 GHZ)

3.00 GB of RAM

NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX

If memory serves me correctly.....

The "tutorials" in the retail release (v1.0) were buggered.....updating your game to a newer version may correct the issue for you.  If you're already on the latest game-version, then all I can say is.......forget the tutorials.....and just play the game...:)

EDIT:  Just re-read your OP and saw you're on version 1.05.  Don't know what else to tell you then.....other than to ignore the "tutorials"..... hehe

Thanks for the reply.

I already tried that too.  No luck.  I also tinkered with my mouse options, but nothing seems to work.

Hopefully, someone out there can help.

Does it only happen on the tutorials?
