You might need to reinstall your GPu drivers or check for monitor drivers,  when you change screen this can happen in some games they won't see the new resolution avaiable unless you reinstall your GPU drivers or add new display drivers.

There may be a way to "hardset" a new display res in a game config file,  most games can do this.

PS Are you sure your monitor is properly recognized? Game probably cannot list all monitor options unless it is validated - it has to get them from the monitor's INF file I think.

I fixed my problem! i re-installed both the Motherboard and Graphics card drivers but it didnt worked. What worked was re-installing the game itself!

Adama: no clue what precisely you ask of me? The problem was not with me. But in case you just want to know what I'm running that resolution on: Samsung 305T+ (30")
