Windows Blind screwed up my windows HELP

There was a really cool skin I wanted to have but I had to download windows blind, so I did. Now it totally fucked up my computer. I was installing it and it gave some odd warning I cant remember exactly, but after that it said something that it had changed my windows and that if I wanted to recover it I had to use the windowsXP installation disk. I thought this was part of the process so I pressed something like cancel because it was a windows warning. Because of that I think the installationprocess stopped and now my XP is screwed up. I only can see my background image and the taskbar and shortcuts are all gone. I can't do a right-mouse-click. I started firefox by pressing 'ctrl+alt+delete' and chose 'new task' and typed firefox.exe. This is how I started firefox, but my XP is totally messed up. I cant find an uninstall-application and I can't even find a folder named 'windows blind'.

How do I have to solve this problem?

It is very unlikely that WindowBlinds could cause such a catastophic event in your computer. It is likely that something was very wrong with Windows to begin with.

-Click Start and then Run, Type 'cmd' and hit enter.
-Type: sfc /scannow
-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)
-When the scan has completed, it should give you some feedback as to the result

This should give you some idea of what troubles were occuring with your machine.

As for WindowBlinds you can boot into safe mode and uninstall it or you can use the following program:

Let me know if you have further questions. Also refrain from swearing further in the forums to retain support service.

semt3x_1337 where did you get that copy of WindowBlinds?  I can not imagine an official copy of anything by Stardock that would do that.

My only suggestion would be to use the restore function and go back to a date before you loaded the software.  If that doesn't work, well you can always reformat.
