Component tray problem

I have a problem loading component tray, everytime I try it says that somethings wrong and to uninstall and reinstall and try again. I have done this multiple times and get the same error message.

Any ideas?

last update was 10/2006 per SDC - I believe I've seen another post earlier that echoed what Philly surmised: not vista ready

Same problem under XP, had to install it from SDC, then update it with impulse
