Punkbuster Blues

For any non gamers Punkbuster is the "de-facto" security anti-cheat software built into most multi-player FPS put there.

Big probs with Punkbuster,it sees Windowbinds as a "Illegal API" and kicks you from games in Vista.

Never had that problem in XP.

Luck'ly all you get is a "Kick" and not a Ban.

With linked Pbans severs that could be rather "nasty".

To get round it you have to go back to original Vista Areo and NOT USE Windowbinds.If your a gamer having to switch all the times

and remembering to do so see's you  in "Aero" mode all the time not enjoying your Desktop investment.

Maybe as a developer you might want to drop them a line so that they take "Windowbinds" of their "sh*/ List"

I will send them a E-mail about this but its always better fro the "Horse's mouth"
