Changed char name in metaverse so...

old char name won't upload score

I'm very new so please direct me to a thread if 1 has already been done on this subject !

 

I put my character name (by mistake) as utab in the main game options. I then changed it to what it should have been - uktab - in the metaverse to upload my score etc.

The game won't connect to the metaverse to upload any score, because the username is FIXED as utab ! I can't click on it and change it to make it the same as my name in the metaverse !

 

Please help

The game was started as "utab", then before you submitting that game you changed the character name to "uktab"?

The game was created with the knowledge that it was started with someone called "utab".  This is stored in the save game file.  Now that name no longer exists, so it cannot upload the score.

You could also try changing the charcters name back to utab, then attempt to submit. If it goes through you can then change the name back before starting another game.
