Green SLi meter

I have a SLi system with two 280's active and can't seem to get rid of this green meter that stays on the screen. I tried doing a search as I know this has happened to others but the search returned nothing no matter how I phrased the search. Any help would be appreciated...

Same issue for me... Currently, I am trying different settings, but no luck so far. If I figure anything out, I'll let you know, but don't count on it.

Goto nvidia control panel:

right at the top next to file etc is "3d settings"

Unlclick "visual indicator bars"

green Sli bar will go away ;)

I had this problem again and did a search on google for a fix. This post came up... Man that was funny seeing my gamer tag in a google search. Thanks for the fix, it worked great.

I've had small issues with SLI with solar empire.  Solar empire doesn't even take advantage of it and in fact drops performance in my case.  In fact I can see the SLI bar but in game it will never go green indicating that SLI is not being utilitzed.  When zoomed out on a galaxy view, scrolling back and forth even with v-sync looks terrible on SLI.  It's much smoother with a single GPU enabled on my system.  No tearing.
