if you installed it using SDC or Impulse - use SDC or Impulse to uninstall

or if it shows in SDC/Impulse use SDC/Impulse to uninstall it

The free version should come out with add/remove through the control panel. If not try the SDC and Impulse suggestions above. If something is using the software actively you might need to boot into safe mode so that the software never launches and uninstall through there.

Thank you I should have been more clear. If you downloaded from SDC you would have to uninstall with SDC, as you said above. However if you installed through download.com or the main website it should be listed in Add/Remove and would not require SDC or Impulse to remove it.
