Well, let's see. Where to begin. OK...Here we go. Young people inescapably have the same reality as us all. The world events that affect me affect them as well. We all could use a voice of reason at this time and if you don't mind...that'll be me. Here then are the 'TOP TEN REASONS WHY YOUNG PEOPLE WILL VOTE REPUBLICAN'

1.BECAUSE THEY CAN.
2. BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO BE LINKED WITH FOOLS THAT TRY TO FORCE PARENTS OF BOY SCOUTS TO LET 'GAY GUYS' HAVE AT THEIR KIDS
3.BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT THE BLOOD OF INNOCENT, PARTIALY-BORN INFANTS ON THEIR HANDS
4.BECAUSE THEY SEE THAT THE MEN AND WOMEN OF OUR ARMED FORCES ENGAGED IN WHAT IS A REAL WAR ARE THEIR BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND NEED THE SUPPORT OF THIS NATION (three out of four to four out of five in the military support President Bush ).
5. BECAUSE THEY SEE THAT IT WAS LIBERAL JUDGES AND POLITICIANS THAT HAVE GIVEN PORNOGRAPHY ITS FREE-REIGN ALLOWING IT TO ATTACK OUR YOUTH WITH THE FEROCITY IT DOES SO WITH...
6.BECAUSE IT IS THE PARTY OF THE PROUD-TO-BE AMERICAN AMERICANS....
7.BECAUSE WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT..(no offense )..'DEAN PEOPLE SUCK'..AND SO DON'T 'CRAZY AL' GORE TYPES, TOO.
AND KERRY AND EDWARDS REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOIN'...AND THEY KNOW IT!
8.BECAUSE MILLIONS OF THEIR FELLOW CITEZENS ARE PRAYING THAT GOD WILL MOVE THEM TO DO 'THE RIGHT THING'
9.BECAUSE THE 'LIFE' BOAT HAS ARRIVED, AND ITS TIME TO MAKE YOUR MOVE.
10. BECAUSE THE REPUBLICAN PARTY CARES MORE ABOUT THEM THAN THE ELITE/CELEB/SUPER-RICH BLEEDING HEART LIBERALS DO, AND THEY'RE SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW IT AND VOTE RIGHT...REPUBLICAN.


So there you are folks. Get the good news out and don't YOU forget to VOTE.

Yup, God talks to W all the time. They're figuring out what they can do next to move this world to a better place. Right. That's about exactly what it is, right-wing bullshit; do you understand that God is no more with America than He/She is against everyone else? We've done some pretty despicable things that I would guess the Lord doesn't find pleasing in His/Her sight.

Ah, Andy, see herein lies the problem of having a diety support a political party.

We've done some pretty despicable things that I would guess the Lord doesn't find pleasing in His/Her sight.

But the real reason I quoted this was to bring up the fact that no person is perfect, and a group made up of imperfect people can do horrible things in "the name of God". The Christian Crusades and Muslim Jihad come to mind.

And, I believe, if W sits down to pray, then he's gonna talk to God, and in some way, God is going to talk back. Praying isn't a one-sided conversation.

To be honest, he's using God to support the conservative view point, not use God to endorce the USA.

Don't get pissed because he likes Bush over Kerry.

For all I know, He's a black female lol. That's for another article, though, I've been having some recent issues with religion and church.

I suppose using God to support the conservative viewpoint is just smart campaigning, but that doesn't mean God loves the liberals, gays, Jews, abortionists, pornographers, etc any less. If He really thought there was a problem with any of them, I'm sure He could have/would have concocted preventative measures before it all came about and would have taken care of said persons already.

I don't know Him, sarcasm's running thin.

What I've been taught and what I've interpreted is that God loves everyone. I don't believe he picks sides, in anything. He died for everyone's sins. He died for the lepers, the prostitutes, the tax collectors, the carpenters, EVERYONE.

With my current years on this earth numbering nineteen, I think I fall in this area of generalizations that was enscribed in this article. Though I do agree with most of what he has to say, I think the strongest influence in my political tendencies has to be the enviroment that I grew up in and the people I associate with. I am from the panhandle area of Florida, also known as the "Bible Belt" which is highly conservative republican. Since I do participate in church more than twice a week I have to say that with growing up in the church all of my mentors that I looked up to had a strong influence upon my belief system which led to a strong conservative foundation for which I am very proud for. I think that forefather1 did prove a good point with this article but once again I stand more along the lines that an individuals political efficacy mostly depends on things like family background, family life, participation in religious activities, and community service.

P.S. on a side note most professors in college are liberal and do in fact have a strong influence upon their pupils. It is not uncommon for education to have a liberalizing affect on the college generation of society.

Just face it, Bush has no clue what he's doing!!! He goes by whatever the other people in his troubled administration tell him. If you've noticed Bush doesn't talk about anything good he has done because he hasn't done a single damn thing to help our country. All he does is put down Kerry who hasn't had his 4 years to get this country on the right track. Bush has had his chance. America was doing fine before Bush came to office, just as we have been since our country was founded. President Bush is THE WORST president we have ever had by far so for him to talk trash is just ridiculous. Luckily we only have to stand him for 5 more days but when you find something good that dumb ol' George has done let me know!!!
