I'll create the gfx, if you setup Skinstudio

I am rather good with Photoshop and think I have a good eye for UI design, although I've never really designed one. My proposal is... If I create all the images, by creating the UI in Photoshop, and saving each section as a png image file, could somebody else bring it all together as a windowblinds windows xp skin. I want a rather simple slick neutral interface. No (or few) animations, and no bold colors. I'm almost certain I know the answer... (Just learn the software yourself, it's easy and you'll pickup on it really quick).. Na.. I'm not intersted in learning it. I'm not even interesting in skinning for the most part, it's just that I can't find what I'm looking for, so I guess I can create it myself.

Here's a sample of what I whipped up this afternoon.

You are going to need to reference SkinStudio anyway so that you have the proper number of states for images and for buttons and such which state is which, pressed, selected etc. Also for the window frames the active and inactive are on the same image, and in a certain order. If you want per pixel/translucent window frames, the standard must still be made (needed for MDI apps) but the images for the two are done differently.

Probably no one will be able to bring your vision to fruition like you would! I suggest you go for it! If you can muster the patience and generate the creativity, I think you may even find that it's fun! :)
