C) The stuff I emptied from my old car last week.

I guess she would have, had it not been for the fact that she was fast asleep. She had taken a couple of Mogadon because of insomnia, and during the night 'dear old hubby' carried her out and put her in the boot, knowing the car was being sold the next morning.

Apparently it was several hours after that the guy who bought the car was alerted to the fact that she was in there... hearing banging and cries for help coming from his garage.

Yup, there would have been 3 major surprises that day... the woman having gone to bed as usual and waking in the boot, and the guy not only finding a woman in his new car... but a naked one to boot.

Yeah, read it in a magazine while waiting in a doctors surgery... and yeah, it was a true story... showed extracts from the actual police/court records, etc. It must have been a terrifying experience for her, but like she said, it was the best thing that had ever happened to her... being ceremoniously dumped dumped like that paved the way to 15 years of wedded bliss (or words to that effect).

Oh how I love happy endings.
