Game Freezes

Help!

I purchased the game 4 hours or so and I started it, it played for about 2 or 3 minutes and then crashes.  When it crashes everything freezez. I can't even shut down, just stare at one screen.  I have to un-plug and plug it back in.  I have updated all of my drivers the first time, and updated the game the second.  Nothing I try is working!
I have a nVidia GeForce OC 6200 256 mb graphics card, Intel 2.0 Ghz dual core processor, if you want more info just ask. Thanks!

OC? Overclocked? Perhaps your hardware is overheating.

What versions do you have? Depending where you got them, they may not actually be the latest (and drivers before 174 had an issue).

I had the same problem when I had the Game running on full graphic details I lowered them a bit and it doesn't freeze anymore.

Yeah I lowered the graphics and it runs for longer but eventually it crashes.
The graphics card come over-clocked
The graphics card drivers varsions are 6.14.11.7519
XP SP3
sound card version 5.10.0.5559
xBox 360 driver version 1.10.123.0 although I don't think thats necessary, I just bought it at the same time as the game

Try going to the nvidia website and updating the drivers from there.

problem could be the 6200 also that card is old old old. (in relative terms of course but still it came out in what late 04?)
