How do you add/delete weapons from ships?

Hi all,

I'm having some difficulty adding weapons to ships. When I try to add a weapon and update the NumWeapons parameter, the game goes minidump on me. Any ideas? Do I need to disable then enable the mod again to update the information? Thanks.

A ship can only have a max of 3 weapons, so if you're trying to add them onto a capital, that's why it would minidump. It should work on any other ship, though.

All ships have a 3 weapon cap? Also, do capital ships need to have 3 weapons all the time or can they be limited to 2 or even 1 weapon? Thanks for the help.

All ships and structures have a 3 weapon cap, yes. They can have any number up to 3 (0, 1, 2, 3), but no more.
