How do i increase my Capital Ship cap?

Ok i must be dumb or something. There is no way you can only have one capital ship through out the hole game. Can some one plz explain to me how to rais the cap. when i build a Capital ship Port it gives me one. Ok, so i make a Capital Ship. Then it goes down to zero. I have tried building another Port but that dont give me any more Cap points. What should i do? Can some one please help me out?

Research screen, third tab on the left. Top row gives more capship slots, bottom row gives more supply points. Note that capships take both capship slots and supply points.

Research Fleet Logistics.

You need capital ship slots in order to build them (Max 16.), but you also need fleet capasity as well.

Each capital ship uses 50 fleet capasity, so if you dont have enough, you need to research more.

Each increase in fleet capsity has a tax cost in money, metal and crystals, so as you increase your fleet capasity, you need more resources being produced to support the fleet. If you increase fleet size too fast, you suddenly find that you are not making money and resources fast enough to do anything or build ships at the speed you want to.

So dont overresearch fleet capasity too soon.

I'm looking under logistics when I play and it insists I do 1 basic provisioning or 1 basic training but those options are nowhere to be found. I had this same problem when I first tried on the game.

I thought I had found the solution and now have forgotten.

I've looked everywhere and had the same problem with two of the factions.

Its driving me absolutely nuts. I'm regretting having paid for the game.

You need to research in sequence from left to right. You can't skip ahead. "Basic provisioning" and "basic training" are names of the previous fleet logistics research topics.
