Sound just stops working on main menù

Hello,

Does anyone know why my audio stops working when i get on the main menu. The cinematics work fine but some times ( not always ) my sound wont work. I bought the retail version but the DVD seemed ruined, i tryed to install it and didnt have any problems. My game is updated to patch 1.5 and my drivers should be updated.

I Really love the game and i just hope some one has a solution.

My specs

OS : Windows Vista Ultimate 32 original

MoBo : Asus P5k

CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo E6750

Ram : 2 Gb Corsair ( I think its a performance ram, not sure)

Video card: nVidia 8800 GTS KO

Hard Disk : 2 x 500 Gb Seagate Barracuda

Sound Card : Dont have any

Speakers : Hercules XPS 5.1 70

Dont know if the spec are going to help but just wanted to be sure.

Have you tried messing with the sound settings?

I tryed to modify the sound settings of the game when it happends and when it doesnt, but i still have this problem.
