Need Help

ok me and my friend are new and we are having problems hosting and joining each others games but we can join others games. It keeps on saying disconnected from server when we try to join each others games. I have tried to read all the help stuff but I am computer illiterate and have no clue what most of the stuff being said is all about and could really just use a step by step thing on how to fix this problem. Thanks!

If you're running game version 1.05 or less, the step-by-step is linked-to immediately under the GREEN writing in the OP of this thread.


You can optionally get IMPULSE (Stardock's new distribution system) from www.impulsedriven.com and download the BETA for 1.1 (which is game version 1.09) with the new optional netcode allowing hosting with no router/network configuration.


The choice is yours. :)
