Trouble Applying Skins

I recently tried the Stardock Theme Suite, but did not like it, and so I uninstalled it, along with some other things, which required a restart. I restarted, and my Window Blinds Skin was gone, now it is back to the normal XP theme, although some things such as the tray icons are too large or too small. The taskbar is also somewhat larger for some reason. Now, when I try to reapply a skin, it gives me the usual symbol from that skin that means it is applying, then nothing changes. Can anyone please help me with this problem? Thanks in advance.
