Command line to turn off a dock

Heres the deal...  love object dock but i dont want multiple docks all over my screen and so far im not happy with the stack docklet..

so what i want to do (i have plus BTW) is create on main dock with Icons for Games, Office, Adobe software, etc..

and when i click on one of thoses icons i want it to show another dock.   much like the tabs feature...  but i dont like the look of tabs..

If this is not possible...  how about lettting us use icons instad of words for the tabs???
