Any Patches? Where?

Ok, I have been back and forth between here, Impulse, Stardock . .

Are there any patches/updates for GC II Dread Lords? If so, where can I get them? I click on the "Update Game" when the game screen comes up and I get sent to Download Impulse, which I already have and have an account.

 

When I do a search - nothing.

This is frustrating. Please advise.

DL hasn't been actually updated in ages. Current version is 1.50.135. I believe there was a mini-update (simply to test the new patch system or something to that effect) not too long ago, but as far as I know, it hasn't gotten a gameplay update in many many months (probably more than a year), and most likely will not until 2.0.

Bottom line: If you bought DL from a store (recently), got it with the Gold Edition, or downloaded it from Stardock, you've probably got it up to date.

But just in case, would you mind telling us your version number?

My version number is 1.0.

I purchased the game when it came out. My computer had to be reformatted and I recently wanted to play again. I like the game. You say there is a version 1.5, but I cannot see any references anywhere to any patches for it.

Can you tell me where to get the 1.50.135?

I would highly recommend buying the addons, they really improve the game.
You should get the patches using stardock central or impulse (get this).

I have gone to Impulse. I have downloaded Impulse. All I get is a list of games for sale. NOTHING showing where to get patches. NOTHING at all.

It is very frustrating. I download the program, take space on my drive and get a huge list of advertisements for other games.

Can anyone tell me a link or specifically where and/or how to find patches on Impulse?

I would appreciate it.

Check the My Games tab, rather than the Store tab. GC2 should be there, and if you've got it registered already, simply click on it then click the update button.

I'm still using SDC, and as far as I am aware, it still works for updates. You can get it from here or (direct link) if you have not already done so.

If SDC isn't working, then I don't know what to tell you. I haven't migrated to Impulse yet myself.

Or you could just listen to Kryo. Yeah, that sounds like a plan. :)

I recently got Impulse my self. You need to update your registration with Impulse. Start it, look in the upper right corner and there are some small icons, the little white page looking one is update reg. Look up your Serial #, enter it, and you'll be able to get updates through impulse.
