strange problem when i'm trying to mod

ok i have downloded the mod stuff from this website. i read all the different things on how to do this stuff. my problem is that once i change something i cant save it so i went and looked at a mod i downloaded and in that mod i could so i really dont know what the problem is. spifically when i save it says makesure the path and the file name are correct and then it brings me to look for it and its not there until i look for all file tipes and no matter what i cant save it unless i save it as a text file so i'm at a loss because noone of the things i have read helps me at all

your post is largely incomprehensible but i assume you're having trouble saving the files as anything other than .txt

in whatever you use, hit save as and in the "file type" box go to "all files *.*", then type in the file name with a .entity suffix
