From German Version to English version?

Hello,

I just bought Sins of Solar Empire, great game, I just wanted to ask if it is possible to install English language if I have the German version of the game.

(It was, unfortunately, not an option when installing).

Yes, you should be able to simply register your serial, remove the German version (if you have it installed), then use Impulse to download the entire English version (it did previously see localized files as "out of date" and "update" them accordingly with the English ones, but I think that is now fixed, so you'd need a full reinstall).

Hmm,

this does not seem to work. I deinstalled the game but left the impulse.exe on my drive.

When I click on impulse, it opens the SoaSE webpage and offers the update patch 1.05 for download, but not the full game.

Am I doing something wrong?

The impulse.exe that comes with the game is just a stub that checks if the real version is installed, if not it sends you to the website. You will need to get Impulse from impulsedriven.com to download the game.
