Some strangeness on this tiny map

I'm playing a tiny map, and I decided to get ultra agressive. I have about 50% of the planets early and have pinched off the AI greatly. They seem to be preoccupied with building constructors for at least 4 to 5 loose resources I'm aware of. I got a decent strangle hold.

Now enter the Yor. I'd like to see how they pulled off this stunt of still being in the game. You can still talk to them, but somehow they are without a planet. In fact, I was attacked by one of their fighters even though I could swear they were without a world for several turns.

Now I'm kind of curious. How in the world did they lose their only world if nobody in the game has transports (presumably the only way you can take over a planet). Secondly how are they existing in the diplomacy screen and the UP several turns after I noticed they had no home world.

Stardock, if you want the save game in question, you're welcome to it. It's by far the strangest bug I've ever seen.

PS. I have ever single system explored. So I know for a fact they dont have a planet.

Do they have a colony ship? They start with one so it might still be around. I don't know for a fact that having a colony ship would keep them alive after losing their planet, but it might.

They did have a colony ship... reduced their military to zero eventually, they have nothing left on the map. No ships. No nothing and they're still there.
